A giant tree- that seems familiar. Maybe not the living in it, but I don't know. [the last few words come out as more of a scrawl than he'd intended, but the rest is reasonably smooth] How many people are here?

If it seems familiar, then maybe you lived in a giant tree once, or just knew a giant tree, except it's kinda hard to know a tree since they can't talk so that doesn't make much sense, does it?

Well… It could've been somewhere I visited often, I suppose. You'd get to know the trees then, wouldn't you?

That's true! Even if you can't hold a conversation with a tree you can still know your way around it and sleep under it and watch it change colors....

Exactly!

Does this one change colours?

There are, of course, peoples who make their homes in such trees. I doubt that these are enclosed, as this is.

Something can be improvised from torn clothing, but I believe that superior ones are sold in the Bazaar.

Probably not. I suppose they'd just have to be careful not to fall off the branches.

That's [consultation of map] one of the islands, isn't it? Thanks.

Something about spirits in the trees? That's what I first thought when I awoke here.

I get the impression this place is like its own city, so quite a number of people I imagine.

Who help it grow?

Certainly looks like it could support that many.

I'm Eagle. Nice to [pause] meet you, I suppose!

And live within it?

The many floors in this place make it a little difficult to gauge.

This is considered a form of meeting, apparently, so yes I suppose it is nice to meet you as well, Eagle.

[why are trees pinging me when I dreamt of sand :|a] Makes sense. And if they're living in it, they'd want it to do well, right?

Seems to be a lot of space just in housing. And I imagine people could camp out in other places.

Perhaps we could meet up in person at some point, too!

Maybe there was a giant tree where you're from... you should pay attention to familiar feelings like that. They might lead to something important.

There are actually hundreds of people here. I've never counted them, but it's quite a city!

Is that right? Well, I'm not sure how I could forget it.

Really? Well, it does seem like it should be big enough. Be a lot of people to get to know, though. [:|a]

The same way we forget everything else important to us. But the memories aren't gone forever.

Well, I'm Krile, so now you know one name! What's yours?

That's good to know. I wonder why they went in the first place, though.

Eagle. Good to meet you!
