You nailed it. Why Dean's actions bothered me so much, there was nothing that actually made sense; why Dean shoot the infected mom (Sam saying yes to the mom but no to the male!meg). It probably is how you say, just a pretext that led to the final scene, I'm not really complaining because it was ten kind of awesome. And JA and JP killed me a little bit in it. Still.

Am I the only one who thinks this would have been a good episode in which to focus a little more on Sam?

No you are not. I want to see how Sam's faring, I want to know what he's thinking. I believe I know, but some exposure wouldn't go amiss.

I still find myself madly in love, though!

I'm sorry that you are feeling frustrated, power outage, huh? That sucks even more than life and people ;)

If anything could suck more than life and people, it would be a power outage on the night of a new SPN. ;)

I'm not really complaining because it was ten kind of awesome. And JA and JP killed me a little bit in it.

That scene was perfect in every way. So intense, with Dean's honesty and Sam getting all teary and snotty. I wish it had been longer, but still not complaining. Just the idea that Dean wouldn't want to go on without Sam.... I've always wondered if that was simply fanon, but now that it's canon--wow!

Well, what bothered me, aside from the Dean acting OOC somewhat like you stated, was that what was the big idea of infecting people and then just making them dissappear. Will we see them again? Is this guerilla war by The Demon, corrupting the entire continent through infected demon-spawn people? I mean, what?

And Sam is unfamiliar to me too. Dean we know, Dean's headspace gets play, but Sam... well, maybe his time will come.

Funnily enough, the demon-spawn infection sort of cleared things up for me, as far as anticipating the The Demon's plans. I think you likely hit it right on the money as far as guerilla warfare goes.

well, maybe his time will come.

Hope so.
