On a totally different note, I've been trying to kick myself into gear to write fic for a while now, to the point of being totally pathetic. (Staring into space vs. writing fic should not be such a difficult choice.) One thing that always, always works when it comes to writing (for me, anyway) is to make a commitment to others that it. will. get. done. Not that I think my writing is any matter to my flist and occasional visitor (though one can hope a little;), but I need to make a public commitment to finish this one story before I drive myself insane.
So, I hereby announce that a rough draft of a SPN fic will be complete by Saturday night. Sunday night if I get assigned a Saturday trip. Maybe it's sad that it had to come to this, but I've been so ADD lately it's scary. Whatever works, right?
