It is a daily struggle for each of us, though we all have slightly different focuses to our struggles. But you have the right idea. . . don't look back, but look onward to your goal, and look around at those who are doing it with you, and those who have gone before (i.e. icons). Keep up the good fight. :D

i totally agree.
i keep on looking back too often, and look forward too little at times. for me, that is looking too often at things and people that hurt me, instead of God's promises and being happy about the good church i found, and the people i'm meeting now. you aer right, it is indeed a leap of faith, and sometimes we only feel like crawling.
just trust that God will provide.
like you said, I accepted Jesus - that is all that matters.
