(no subject)
Went to the Getty Museum exhibit.
My team pride of Orthodoxy unfolded 1000%.
In other words,
= awesome.
= i was seeing icons, most about 1000 years old...some much older.
= this world is seamless, perfect, and beautiful.
= the church may have its flaws...but it is still the Church, and I'm proud to be a part of it...this splendid, ancient, human organization...and yet it's not only human, it is Divine also.
mostly it is humans who have flaws...:-) But there is good news about that too.
I'm glad to have gone with my Dad, the rabbi, who is so respectful of my faith.
I will write more soon...maybe after I get decent sleep.
