Finally! A post in...
... almost 8 weeks. WHEEEEE. I haven't posted in a long time x_x gomen. Lol. Even though all my exams were done in like May. x_x oops. I'm making up for it with a long post ^^ :D *don't kill me xD*
Backtracking:
May 24: L'Arc~en~ciel concert in Asia-expo.
Before this, I didn't really have a knack for L'Arc songs except for when the songs first come out. After the concert, most of the songs that I've been liking suddenly became.. tasteless, boring. Like, there wasn't a "kick" in them. I guess you could say that it's because I liked slow songs a lot more before the concert and after, I prefer fast/ rock-ish songs. Haha. Hence, KAT-TUN's ballads, Kame's 絆 etc etc weren't as good as they seemed to be before and She Said, Real Face, 喜びの歌, Keep the Faith etc. and L'arc songs, were all suddenly really really good. :D:D Seriously. The live beats any recordings/ CDs HANDS DOWN any day.
Hyde's 'dancing' (if you can call it dancing) was either utter pwnage or utter fail. Of course being a J-rock band, they can't beat Johnny's in dancing (even when they're fail-ish) but seriously. And from the concert, I can conclude Ken's fanservice FAILS while Hyde's works every time. Seriously. Imagine Ken going near to the audience, but they don't give a crap, but when Hyde does it, everyone near where he stands SCREAMS. XDDD Too funny.
And a must-mention point:
The four band members started their live wearing 'normal' clothes. I.e. pants + shirts etc etc. Before the encore, they went backstage... and when they came back out, TETSU came out in a SKIRT and BRIGHT RED STOCKINGS. Omg. Hahahaha. He was so cute like.. twirling and jumping onto amps with his bass and stuff. XDDD The cameraman was in the pit so.. the camera kinda shoots up at L'arc. Except Tetsu was in a skirt, so when he jumped onto an amp, it kinda gave an up skirt view onto the big screens. -______- Not really, since it was really dark but xDDDDD.
They had MC segments during the concert. I suppose you could say Ken had the best canto... They all sort of just went into half canto half putonghua in the end. I guess cos they practiced more for putonghua as they had their concert in Shanghai before. I liked how Ken was so random and talked about how the pigeon/ chicken?(roasted) and the fish (steamed) "could have been really scrumptious" except they died and got cut up (and became their dinner/ lunch/ meal whatever). Then there were pictures of the heads of the chicken/pigeon and the fish facing each other "kissing"... and he was saying how they became friends. @_@ Utter randomness, utter failure in canto, but funny as hell. xDDD He then gave up talking in canto, tried in putonghua, failed nonetheless (I think this was scripted :P), threw his script down. xDDD
Even when we were like 2 gyms away from them and they were like an INCH tall from where we were, it was still way awesome. I will fly to Japan to watch them again if I can when they hold concerts again. Lol. ^^

L'Arc is still amazing and <3. I can still picture the stage... the bit when it was really pretty. like blue/green with white lights shining out. as;ldkfjalsjdf;asj;flj. was it during winter fall? or 花葬? i don't remember -o- half way i couldn't help but to sing along. no words to explain the awesome-ness of l'arc. yukihiro's blue hoodie. and his awkwardness. and his PRO DRUMMING. omg. >< <3 but then again. i don't really like the songs that he composed. hahaha ^^" but new world.. which he did with hyde is waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy awesome. tetsu. ging bass >< skirt + twirl + jumping around 8D omg. lol. 1-6th June: Koh Samui, Thailand.
It was fun even with my sunburn. But seriously, too much alcohol that's too easy for access in my opinion. Too many people drunk at night. Insane. But I guess it's all part of grad trip. Which I missed out on - being drunk or tipsy. It was fun. And pretty nonetheless. I miss the sun, clear sky, BREEZE and... dryness of KS (compared to virtually 100% humidity in HK 24/7.) Hai. Pictures... might go up on facebook in the near future. :P I don't promise anything definite though. Hahaha. Can't be bothered to upload. ^^"
Back in Hong Kong till now
I got my wisdom teeth (both bottom) taken out since they were growing lopsided and tilted and was going to knock my other teeth out if I just left them as they were. So now, my cheeks/ jaw's quite the swollen and I look like a puffer fish -_- My face is actually kinda bruised too - it looks like I got into a fight of some kind. Bleh. Oh wells. It isn't painful, but oh-so-sore. :(
Got my eyes checked too (all these check ups and stuff because I'm leaving after the summer). Not much difference :D yay. xD
I should be a responsible cousin and help my younger cousins revise for their exams - I think they're ending next week? Not sure. - But, I'm lazy. *again* heh. xD
I've been working on my knitting. Whee. Now I don't need to get a scarf for Seattle. Hahaha. Unless I decide to give this one to someone, maybe my mum. I don't know. If it turns out okay, maybe. xD
Should I go get a part-time job at Kumon for the summer? Hahaha. TEACHING KIDDYWINKS MATH/ ENGLISH. 8D Y/N? xDDD
I also joined jonerecords so I can put my translating skills into use. Otherwise I'd be bored out of my mind over the summer. Lol. But I don't think I'm doing such a great job x_x Blehhhh.

University
I've decided to go to U of Washington, Seattle. It's pretty much determined now - I'm not too keen in going to Uni here. Even when HKU's ranking is higher than UDub. -_- I guess I'll miss my family+relatives+cousins, the warmer weather here and the food, but maybe that's about it. I'll be back for Christmas :D And I think I'm positive about running around in short sleeves in December/ January Hong Kong. It's now effing JUNE and most of the time, the temperature in Seattle's still under 20 degrees Celsius. -__- I think I'll miss the sun here too. Since it seems like it's always raining there. Kinda like London-ish. BUT I definitely won't miss the polluted air and the humidity. :D:D xDDD
I've never been there before. Anything I should bring especially? *no idea whatsoever*
