(no subject)
Okay. So I've got access to a computer this week because my research project involves math. I'm working with a really cool program called Mathematica. Supposedly has some stuff to do with the computer language stuff. I don't really know how I'm going to make a poster on the stuff I've "learned." That's mostly because I can't really see where the professor is going with what he is showing us.
Overall, I really like living on a college campus. My roommate, on the other hand. She's not a bad person. She's just crazy clean, like my aunt. O.o She's one of those people who doesn't come off very friendly and makes you not really want to open up to her. She seems kind of snotty. But anyway. Yeah, college will be good. I'm just hoping that the people will come in a wider variety. Most of the people here are rather quiet. Emma and, of course, Greg aren't that quiet. I'd have to say, surprisingly enough, I'm one of the noisiest...except for the chaperone. Bridget. I like her. Funny.
Today, I will be seeing chimpanzees that know sign language. Tomorrow I get to go downtown. And the day after that I will be going on a three mile hike to dinner at...Snow Lake or something like that? I'll have to figure out the name later. Then it'll be three miles back to the dorms.
My professor is gone right now and I'm stuck a room with two guys, who are, to say the least, boring. The don't talk to me much. And the one named Jake is pretty smart. O.o They both...mmm...scoffed, would be the word I think, at me for taking the fat ass book...1464 page book...to try to figure out the math program. So...I got to show them a shortcut key today. And they're all like...how did you know that? *rolls eyes*
Many, many cheerleaders are here for cheer camp. It kind of messes with my self-esteem because I feel very...mmm, ugly when around all these crazy skinny, good looking chicks. *shrugs* I think what also annoys me is how perky they all are. *shivers* ...Again with the self-esteem.
I'm really, really bored now...so I think I'm going to try making my own graphic array. O.o Maybe I'll print one off and bring it back home to show people what I can do on the computer.
