Okay, so in the plot details
here Jchan said people with A-cards a) would wake up with the memories of their worst possible death and b) could have died in a way similar to that.
SO. Quick account!
- I am inclined to think that Hawk's fears about death (particularly at this point in time) would be more about the situation- so what Hawk remembers is being disabled, arms useless (dislocation or knives in his shoulders) and being completely unable to do anything about keeping Bigieu from hurting those he cares about.
- …and then she went after him, pretty much in line with Eagle's death- I'm going with limited mind control for- hmm, begging?, but letting that go before fireballing him. Not badly enough to kill him straight off, but definitely enough to make him wish she had.
- Also, she stabbed him with the Mana Sword (which I really don't think it's supposed to be used for- at least, not in SD3) just to make the point. And because she could, and because Hawk's face when she did that amused her.
Physically, Hawk's fine. Mentally? Not so much- he's likely to be sticking a lot closer to people when he ventures out again. At the moment, it's making sure he's working out because DID IT HAPPEN OR NOT…
(I don't think Jagan really makes an impression on Hawk… he's more Lise's deal than Hawk's, he connects more clearly to Lise's Elliot issues- see Bucca Island. Until they take the Mana Sword anyway :|a)
And that shirt's pretty much ruined, whoops. But the vest from Sophie is fine! Awesome.
