Let's make this short, shall we?
+Bad storm on Thursday knocked out a transformer and killed power all around the block. The ensuing surge of electricity killed most of the electronics in whole or in part throughout the house. Had to replace the modem, cable box, modulator, router, network card and television. The cable in the living room still doesn’t work and won’t be fixed until September 11. Bullshit says I.
+Finally replaced most of said electronic devices with help from friends and money I didn't have to spend to cover my eye doctor's appointment. My eye doctor, clever man that he is, filed my appointment under "routine physical" as opposed to an optometrist's appointment. Very slick.
+Been playing WoW again and got a character up to level 17. It's been fun to actually be able to play with Brandon.
+The cat has semi-officially been renamed Baby, because that's what he acts like. I've never known a cat who wants to be held so much. This morning in bed B was holding me and I was holding the cat. Too sweet. :) He also is not aware that he does not have opposable thumbs and keeps trying to pick up things with his paws like a person. He's such a little man.
+Went to our final pre-marriage counseling session Sunday. It went well if a little awkward. I'm glad it's over with and that we're one step closer to the wedding.
+Paid the downpayment for the photographer and picked out our album.
+Unexpectedly saw the Shli of Ash on Friday and the Monkey and Miss M. on Sunday. Lovely ladies, all of them.
+Did not watch the pay-per-view, wasn't surprised by the outcome, but also a little disappointed. Boy did I want Babalu to win. Hughes better kick Penn's ass. I did, however, watch the Pride event Sunday. Dan Henderson didn't win? WTF? Whatev.
+The house is a wreck. I really need to clean, do laundry, and vacume, but I felt absolutely no drive to do so this weekend. Instead I cooked. I made a roasted chicken on Sunday as well as a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing. I had wanted to make cupcakes but realized how long that would take with my little six muffin pan. The chicken, however, was fantastic.
