Another Meme & actual content

This one stolen from apathys_girl who's my favorite and whose short scene with Emily I really liked.

1. Elaborate on your default icon.

Matt "Your-Soul-Better-Belong-To-Jesus-Because-Your-Ass-Is-Mine" Hughes. I.E., the fucking man. Watch the man fight and tell me you can't fall in love with him. Seriously. Go check out his webpage and watch his demo reel. Totally stolen from eluted.

2. What's your current relationship status?

Engaged, soon to be married. Unless I kill everyone involved with this wedding first.

3. Ever have a near-death experience?

Nope. I know, how boring.

4. Name an obvious quality you have.

A strong personality and a protectiveness of my friends.

5. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?

"Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley sometimes replaced by that new Christina Aguilera song.

6. Any celeb you would marry?

No celebs I would marry. Really, I just like to look at the pretty boys/girls. And only in certain ways. (For example: Naked women are beautiful. Nearly naked men can be beautiful. Completely naked men, well, I think I'll pass.) However, I do have a few ongoing fangirl crushes:

#1 - Scarlett Johansson
#2 - Matt Hughes
#3 - Ralph Fiennes

7. Who will cut and paste this first?

Probably Strickland or frankenchris. I could be wrong though.

8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?

Yeah, when I was younger and my hair was black I was told that I looked like Christina Ricci. Mostly it's just the small nose and high forehead I think.

9. Do you wear a watch? What kind?

Nope. That's what my cellphone is for.

10. Do you have anything pierced?

Only my ears. Although I would like to get my nose pierced.

11. Do you have any tattoos?

Alas no. B gets sand in his vagina every time I mention it. Ideally, I would like to get the kneeling Isis with outspread wings across my shoulders. One of these days...

12. Do you like pain?

Only the pain of my enemies as I revel in their defeat.

13. Do you like to shop?

Sure. As long as it's with someone else's money. I'm a clothes horse and a sucker for CDs and books.

14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?

I can't even remember. B paid for lunch yesterday with cash though.

15. What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?

I don't have a credit card, but I bought groceries to make lasagna with my debit card last night.

16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?

Mom and Jamie during lunch.

17. What is on your desktop background?

An Oscar Wilde quote.

18. What is the background on your cell phone?

A lava lamp. It's pretty lame.

19. Do you like redheads?

Yes, but lately I've been in my brunette phase. Which, funny enough, is not reflected by my celebrity crushes, all of whom are blondes.

20. Do you know any twins?

Quite a few, actually.

21. Do you have any weird relatives?

Let me tell you, we're a few drunks away from a Tennessee Williams play. My family is very interesting and very strange. They would probably lump me into that category though. But still, no one tops Aunt Mary D., the paranoid schizophrenic.

22. What was the last movie you watched?

Saw "Superman" in theaters, but on TV we watched "The Sixth Sense" again the other night.

23. What was the last book you read?

The Sultan's Harem, although I can't remember who it's by and I'm not committed enough to look it up on Amazon. Deal with it, bitches.

Weekend was good, too short as ever. Bowling + Sushi was much fun to be had on Friday night with lots of great people. Had a moment of awkwardness pre-dinner, but it quickly passed upon hanging out with said friends. The Headache roll and Oh My My roll at Shoguns are officially friggin fantastic. Also, it wasn't nearly as expensive as I had expected. Maybe we can look at going there again sometime soon. Bowling was vaguely embarassing but much more fun and B and Mandy kicked our asses. Good times.

Saturday we drove up to Athens in the morning and went to Tyche's Games. I wasn't particularly impressed, but B got the Umbra revised book, which was the only one we didn't have. Like him, I hate paying full price for the old World of Darkness books. We still need a few more of them that they had, but our pockets aren't too deep at this time of the month. Afterwards we came home, cooked dinner and watched UFC Ultimate Knockouts #3 and #4.

Sunday was another lazy day. A little bit of laundry, lunch at Bia's, and then had the Toreador Clan girls over along with significant others for dinner. I made a lasagna that I was very happy with, we ate, talked Guild and Clan stuff, then adjourned for sleep.

Today it was back to the salt mines at 7:30 this morning. Tonight is Raw and hopefully some fish for dinner. I want salmon but we'll see what they have at the market.
