FOXES!!!!
Busy as always, and not much time, but I thought I'd post a photo of what I saw this evening:
OMG OMG OMG!!!! A friend told me where she was seeing a kit fox, and I went to see if I could spot it yesterday- and found it almost immediately! I sat in my 4runner and just watched and photographed her for a long time. I could die from the cuteness. Kit foxes are all ears- and legs. Eventually it got dark and I headed home. But I went back this evening- and she was there again! I'm trying to get a shot of her while the sun is up but have managed only one so far- the sun is setting earlier than I keep thinking it's going to. I just hope she stays safe- she's way too tame for her own good. :(
The photos are a bit grainy because most were taken with a high ISO/slower shutter speed because of the dim light...
I've had some serious "fox mojo" lately... I saw THREE gray foxes last month, and now this kit fox... take a look at some more photos of the kit fox and the third gray fox (I called it in) I saw recently... I'm lovin' it!

More later... still searching for a javelina, but I have seen just about every OTHER animal in Arizona the last few months...
