Isabel had taken advantage of having her birthday off and slept in late. After finally getting up and showered, she had lunch, then gathered all the pots and gardening supplies she'd acquired on the patio/balcony.

Now she just needed Lana to come by with the plants to be planted.

Until she arrived Isabel was content to sit with a cold iced tea and a good book.
