Lol. Emergency is mostly practice for me. Someday I'll get a full, decent recording of it, but not yet. Shorter ones for me for now, at least for actual posting and such.

I found these because I am the type of weirdo who does a livejournal search on "podfic" every day.

I've added links to both of these to the masterlist I keep of all MCR podfic, and I'm looking forward to listening to them. (I listened to a tiny bit of the first one last night because I was curious, and I really liked what I heard so far.) I recommend posting them to amplificathon, which will get them automatically put into the audiofic archive and should also get them noticed and linked by dotcoms_refresh so that bandom podfic listeners can find them.

Sorry this took me *forever* to get back to you on. Actually, I listened to the podfic the day after we had this conversation and liked it a lot, but I kept thinking I'd come back when I had more time to give you a proper comment, and then I kept not coming back at all. So I'm just going to go for it before I build it up even more.

Your voice has a really great sound, though, that makes it interesting to listen to and that works beautifully for Grace. And there's this slightly delicate quality to the way you read that just sounds really great and doesn't at all take away from the awesome humor you infuse into a lot of the line readings. Just fun and sharp and lovely.

So it's a great podfic (although so sad, wow) and I'm excited to have you as a bandom podfic reader!

It's okay! I know if I don't do something right away, even when it's with the best of intentions, the chances of it getting done decrease dramatically every day, so I'm glad you came back to it at all. :)

And thank you so much. I know I need to work on my more masculine voices, which is going to be a pet peeve of mine, but I'm glad the basic narration voice and Grace sound okay. My voice always sounds weird to me, even though I kind of love it, so I wasn't sure how it would be received for these podfics.

Hi, sorry to bother you, but for some reason the file is refusing to download for me. :( I don't know if it's just my computer doesn't like mediafire - though I've never had a problem before - but every time I click the "download" link, nothing happens. (Or I get rerouted to a page about "cleaning up my PC". :/) Whatever it is, the little box that enables you to save something just...isn't appearing. :S I don't suppose you have the file uploaded anywhere else? I'd really, really hate to miss out on it. :)
