Long time no post
Yeah yeah, I've been busy. If you hadn't noticed the Titans (yes, you remember my baseball team, right?) won the pennant. Booyah. AND I got a Z20,000 bonus for, well, "doing my best." No, I don't use any "powers" when I play baseball, that would just cheapen the game. There's something pure about baseball....something beyond ki levels and spirit bombs and wolf fang fists. I have yet to place it exactly, maybe someday I will, but for now I'll just chalk it up to the fond memories I have of the game. Agh, now I sound like some old guy you meet in the park, I think I'll stop there.
Our experience in Las Vegas was...well...let's say it was really, really good until it got really, really bad. And unfortunately in the melee, Belle got a really big burn on her back, its not too severe but it covers a lot of area, so she's pretty miserable at the moment. Her endorphins have all run out and now she's just silly exhausted on whatever pain medicine they gave her. It knocks her out cold five minutes after she takes it...Vicodin I think it is?
Anyway, Dillon was okay though, she got the burns when she flipped around to shield him from whatever blew the fire in the first place. He's still a little shaken up, but kids are pretty resilient - especially him. He'll be fine. I wanted to take him to the park today to play some ball and maybe go over the kata I've been teaching him, but I'm a little worried about leaving her alone all hopped up on these pain meds. Carlotta isn't in town, she went on vacation to Hiroshima this week. Ah well, looks like its nintendo and pizza for us. :P
Haven't heard from Tien in a while, I think he was mad at me for something or other cause he wasn't talking to me much at the tournament either. Maybe he's mad because I kicked his ass when we were training? Or maybe it was the several times I made jokes about him and the dog. *evil grin*
I told him that Belle asked me to move in with her (cause she did...) and he said, "You don't already live with her?" Then it struck me that I basically go back to my apartment for clothes and get my messages. (Ever since those incidents with Scarlett, I don't forward my calls to Belle's when I'm here for fear of exposing Dillon to Her Slutness.) So why don't I? Why shouldn't I move in with her?
