Just realized that today is the day that Dir en grey is in Philly doin' a show. FUCK, I kinda wanted to go to that. I haven't been to a concert since...I saw them in Philly in 2006. XD. Yeeeah, they were awesome in concert, but ever since they released their latest album, their songs have begun to sound alike. *sigh* I may have only gotten into them like, five years ago, but I did prefer a lot of their older stuff. I also liked it when they dressed in drag, lmao. Don't get me wrong, it's cool that they're doing their own thing now that they're popular, but I know that me, my sister, and a few friends have gotten turned off by them because of their new all metal sounding songs. :| So in a way I'm not too disappointed that I'm missing the concert, but at the same time I am. GRAH. Oh well, I'm sure they'll be back someday, haha.
In other news, I backed up a lot of my artwork yesterday. My laptop is getting more and more fucked up, and I'm supposed to be getting a new desktop computer for my bday in February, so yayyy! I'm finally gonna be able to play the Sims! XD
Speaking of video games, most of my Xmas list is made up of them. D: I honestly have no clue wtf I want...well, I do, but since me and my sis are already getting a $200 Xbox 360, I'm kinda like "ehhhh" about the shit I really want, lol. It's bad enough Halo 3, which is the main reason why we're getting a 360, costs like 60 bucks, so I'm trying to keep shit under 30 bucks. :| But three or four video games won't satisfy mum, who wants lotsa shit to wrap. What I'd really like is a few new pairs of pants from Hot Topic. They've got a few good ones out that unfortunately cost like, 40 bucks. >.< WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO WHEN A PAIR OF PANTS COSTS MORE THAT A VIDEO GAME?!! Jesus.
Yes, anyway,,,Christmas will be interesting this year. Family's having a party that I DESPISE attending but most likely will just because I want to make mom happy. I honestly don't give two shits for the rest of the people in it. *sigh* But I've still got a month to go...shit, I need a job. I was thinking of applying at the Blockbuster near my house, but bleh...I need money, that's all I know. Shit son!
OKAY, writing wise...s'goin okay. Still on the side adventure thing, though I did go back to the shit I already typed and fixed some stuff up. The writing really isn't the problem at this point; it's the drawing. I honestly haven't been able to draw anything worthwhile in a good month or two. I'm talking doodles n' shit. I just can't seem to get my drawing mojo on. I'd really like to get some of those character reference sheets done, but I just don't seem to be able to draw anything lately. I'm beginning to think that maybe I should just finish the script and sell it to someone who could make something out of it. But that would be like selling my babies to some stranger...I couldn't do that to them, not after all I've put them through! D:
So, to sum up: Fuck my life.
