Poetic Writers Block
I'm excited about Monday. A friend of mine asked me to go to the Applesauce Teahouse with her this last Monday to check out their open mic night. It was so much fun, I decided at this weeks open mic I'd read some of my poetry.
Just one major problem. I seem to have misplaced my poetry in the move from my old dorm hall to my apartment. So I have to write some new stuff, and I'm at a total writers block! I've got great ideas for short stories, but I'm going for poetry.
So tonight I'm going to curl up with a yummy salad and some Doctor Who and hope that my block disappears. If anyone has ANY suggestions though on how to kick myself into the poetic gear, please let me know! I've been trying to write something for the past week :/
