What a nice weekend :-)
annkari and her husband where here and we had lots of fun. They are probably the most relaxed couple I know.
Annkari and I dyed lots of yarn but forgot to take pictures, well, we took some pictures, but not of all the yarn.
I dyed 5 balls of wool for a felted bag and she dyed 5 skeins (6? I don't remember...) of sock yarn. Hers looks really neat and I'm sure the shawl she's planning to knit with it is going to be awesome. Mine turned out nice, too, but I'll end up with a very hippie Bag I guess ;-) Lots of pastels because I usually used her "leftover" dye from the pots, which I like doing because it gives really cool results and you never really know what'll happen.
I also dyed one skein of sock yarn. I wanted something like a watermelon colorway, light red/pink and light green and then leave some of the yarn un-dyed in between (it wasn't bright white yarn) but it ended up looking like the italian flag... so I dunked the skein into bright yellow this morning and I'm happy with the result I got. I want to make jaywalkers out of that because it should be self striping.
I'll ball it all up today and take more photos. For now here's what we have:
