I really love books. I have no idea what the weather's like in Dublin this time of year so I don't know about Parks and suchlike being a good idea. I have kind of gathered that Dublin isn't exactly the place where you can save lots of money, but then again neither is Frankfurt ;-) I do want to see the two large churches in the center of Dublin (St. Patricks and I forget what the other one was called), Memorials are not really my kind of thing, though I love the shrine of remembrance in Melbourne (but there's hardly any people there anyway). I like markets (antiques, groceries, anything) because you can usually see lots of interesting stuff there. I like cafes and people watching. We do want to go outside of Dublin and see some of the country, but I have no clue where to go. I have the Marco Polo booklet and I think it only lists the most touristy places you can possibly find so I'm taking the book as a "where you should not go" kind of guide.
I'm really looking for places/things where others thought "Wow, this is cool, I'm glad I got to see it." because we only have 3 days so not much time to explore.
