Avengers

I was a little pissed going into the movie that there was only one female Avenger, and obviously she's not one of the "flagship" ones. I was sure she was going to be marginalized, given a bit part to satisfy the quota and nothing else.
I was so wrong. Her story line was hands down the best. Her and Bruce. Her and Hawkeye. Her being so goddamn kick ass all the time. During the climatic fight, she'd do something awesome, and I'd be like "okay, now one of the guys is going to come along and do something more awesome to save her, because that's how these movies work," but no. No, she just kept being absolutely awesome.
In short, Avengers was amazing.
