Bug

A bug just hit my window so hard that it made a big noise. Bugs. They are indesturctible!

If your cat looked like a giant earwig, would you still love him?

Not to other earwigs.

If my family's cat had ALWAYS looked like a giant earwig, I probably wouldn't have gotten to know it, and thusly wouldn't love it.

If it suddenly took on the appearance of an earwig overnight, I'd probably be too busy panicking to realize that it was our cat.

...But I don't actually know what I'd do. To me, that's a very interesting question. Interesting enough to make me pop out of Silent Lurk Mode, anyway. :P

I know. Even though I was having fun with it, I actually find it a very disturbing question. It's not the first time I've asked myself this in one way or another, and I'm certainly not the first person to ask it either. If love is based on appearance then I certainly feel lost in the world.

You know what the last thing to go through a bugs mind when it hits the windshield is, right?

His arse.

I think our cat is a giant earwig. If not that, it is a giant something. Darn cat weighs close to 20 pounds...

Does he scuttle across the floor and up the walls?

She sort of waddles, looks like a large, four-legged penguin with fur and a tail. Damndest thing you ever say.

I would probably love her more just because I always feel sorry for pathetic little creatures.
