“You’ve taken up botany?”
Temari raised an eyebrow and watched her youngest brother carefully arrange the potted plant on his desk so that it would have optimum sunlight. The little tin watering can gleamed at her from behind a stack of paperwork.
“It’s to help with stress,” Gaara replied, sounding as if that was the explanation he’d been given for the greenery strewn around his office.
Temari shook her head and reached out to touch one of the waxy spiked leaves. Then she frowned.
“Gaara…who gave these plants to you?”
“Naruto. He said I needed them more than he did.”
“Oh.” Temari bit her lip and slowly backed out of the room.
She was definitely not going to be to one to explain to the Council why the Kazekage’s office was currently storing cannabis.
That was a job for Kankuro.
