Actually it is.  I was ordered to come up with something sugar-free and flour-free for Mother's Day dessert, and this is the recipe I ended up using for my:

Sugar-free Chocolate Pecan Torte

Ingredients:

2 cups pecans
1/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
4 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cup sugar substitute or artificial sweetner equal to 1 cup

Hmm. Maybe I'll try that the next time I bake something for Dad (diabetic).

What size pan? I have springforms ranging from 8 to 12 inches.

I used an 8-inch springform. I suppose you could always double the recipe to make a bigger cake. Ours only fed eight people.
