Bones of the Night - After the attack on Karakura, Ichigo has some hard thinking to do. Rukia is not helping.
Line from the fic: She had not been breathing when Matsumoto found her. Matsumoto murmured that to Hitsugaya before taking her leave, just as Ichigo arrived with Renji. Ichigo was probably not supposed to hear that.
Naruto
Joyride - Still in the days when Team 7 carried out missions with Kakashi, and wind up on assignment to deliver the first and LAST car of Konoha's history with a particular quirky copynin driving. The reason why Konoha has no cars? Blame Kakashi.
Line from the fic: “Keep your eye on the road!” Sasuke yelled, both in annoyance and fear for his life, jerking Kakashi back into his seat. “I can’t die in a car accident.”
Sacrafice - Sasuke is the strongest opponent Shikamaru's ever gone up against.
Line from the fic: Shikamaru smiles a little. He’s broken Uchiha Sasuke’s nose. He can die happy now.
Starlight and Logic - Naruto confesses to Shikamaru about the kyuubi and Shikamaru tries to be a friend.
Line from the fic: He flails for a moment, thinking he’s about to get smothered by eighty-some pounds of pre-adolescent fox-demon container, and then he realizes that Naruto is trying to hug him.
Kingdom Hearts
There Wasn't - Some small part in his mind told him it should have been harder, really, to capture the heralded hero of the keyblade... Axel gets Roxas back the good old fashioned way.
Line from the fic: Sora’s shirt wasn’t quite a shirt anymore. It was so torn, so shredded, that it was more like thick threads clinging to his shoulders. There were scratches along his arms and what could be seen of his chest. They drew towards and gathered most deeply near his heart - where the heartless attempted to dig it out day after day.
