Holy iambic pentameter, Batman!
A couple of months ago I submitted a poem I wrote to poetry.com and for a long time I thought nothing of it. The other day I got some snail mail saying they had selected me as a semifinalist in a contest to win $1000 and even if I don't win that, I will be published in a book they're compiling. Sure, it's vanity publishing, but do I care? Oh hell no! The only question is, how many copies of the book am I gonna buy....
