I'm not used to writing for an audience besides my f-list. But beginning today, this LJ is open for anyone to read and to interact with me.
I recently joined a company with a friend, the very talented Founder, Christina. She had worked on it for months and just recently launched it. The mission statement is self-explanatory, so I won't be repetitive. You can learn more at Establishing Artists for Tomorrow Media Group.
I offer support in the editorial services. Maybe that'll grow to writing content, we'll see. I've always been obsessive about correcting writing, and I've actually been looking for editorial internships/assistant positions since graduating with no luck.
I've also been checking the papers, the Internet, local and federal government sites-anything really. 'cause right now I'm open to anything. pssst please someone give me a full-time 9 to 5 job So being a part of this company really brightened this year for me. I'd been feeling down (I'll post about this another day), but now I have renewed focus.
The irony for me is I'm part of a media company, yet I'm so behind on media, and technology in general. I'd considered making a WordPress blog, if only because that's where the professionals are, but decided to stay here. Maybe in the future I'll be posting on the company blog or a different one, but I refuse to let my LJ die.
I'll go through this blog and open some posts for people to get a sense of my writing style later on. For now just take me at my word: I can make your writing shine.
