Weekend: now with extra awesome
elmer42 and I went to NRWC.
We had a small but very, very funny Lochleven Square Encampment.
I spent time with people I love.
We attended what will become a legendary Sharc Pit party. There were incriminating photos.
I, gleefully, did not end up in any of them.
elmer42 and Shu_al cooked for the encampment all weekend.
There was extensive lounging.
I wore a sari all weekend.
People told me they had missed me at SCA events.
There I had several deep conversations about Life, The Universe and Everything with more than one person.
I sprung my first Countess Marguerite Discussion Salon upon unsuspecting victims.
I got to do Lady of the Rose stuff for a torchlit tourney.
There was kick ass fencing melee combat where I learned a lot.
I got to have a heavy list shield on one arm and a rapier on the other.
I slew my enemies. I got slain a lot.
It was glorious.
Under the Minus Awesome column:
I had 2 - 3 headaches a day.
2 of which did not respond to the oxygen tank.
The time between cycles is getting shorter.
All in all, despite some complicated emotional spots, I count this weekend in the plus category.
