Father's DAY!

Sep 04, 2005 20:16

It was Father’s Day today. I got my father a wine-cork opener and, of course, a letter. My sister gave him heaps of “scrolls” with writing that doesn’t make sense, as well as a “Porsche” which she and my mother both created together.

Anyways, I woke up with my alarm ringing, but through instinct, I closed the alarm and fell back asleep again. Thus, I was late. I woke up at around 6:25am instead of 5:30am, so I didn’t have breakfast at home, nor did I have my usual shower, which was very uncomfortable of course.

Today just HAD to be the day the train timetables changed. Yea. The train came 15min earlier than usual so I missed it by 30 seconds. So…I had to wait another 30min. I was late for my private teacher’s place of course…what…with the rain.

I was hoping that the rain would stop after I left at 10am, but no. It was even worse than before. Sigh…

Anyways, at Ballum’s, he told us about how one of his side-businesses has been getting a lot of investors and that he is expanding to the whole of Australia for his business. That’s good.
A “new” kid came in. Dunno what year though.

Oh yea, before I forget, I learnt what visual kei is yesterday and what a coincidence - I saw two guys, probably brothers by the way they dress and one of them is a stunning image of visual kei. He had this….I dunno. He just didn’t look like a normal guy. Take for instance Se7en. They look normal. Then look at Gackt. He doesn’t look normal! He looks like a girl a lot of the time…or at least…really shiny. Same with this guy. This guy I saw also had an earring, same with his brother so they are either gay or just like that style.
Wow, freaky.
The guy was like…a cross between a girl and a guy. Of course, since his brother was a bit fatter, his brother still looked normal. XP

Hmm…now, moving on. I got freaked out because of this Middle-eastern guy across the train from my on the way back from Fairfield. God was it scary. He was just lying there with his eyes closed and his face up at the ceiling. Nothing wrong right?
Well, for one thing, he was wearing one of those winter jackets so it looked like he could hold a bomb in there and he wasn’t fat, you could tell.
However, the scary part was where he continuously had random bouts where he would smirk with his eyes closed, looking at the ceiling. And no, he wasn’t listening to music. That was scary.

Than, when I was almost at Central, he got a phone call. XDDD God that was scary. I left the area before we hit Central so I was at least as far away as possible from him. Of course, he didn’t explode. XD
Anyways, I’m obsessed with a few of the songs that I downloaded, including 895757, Rurutia’s songs (which are really good because her singing is….unique)…Love Girl…BoA’s Lollipop, SES - U and F.I.R’s “wo men de ai”.

We had Lasagne and Watermelon for Dinner today. ^o^

Hmmm….what else. Oh yea. Stupid Tom Nip gave me his copy+paste work for the BS Assignment, which was nothing at all. XD I had to create the PowerPoint template, then PowerPoint Presentation, the speech for both of us AND the hand-out. :gonk:
BULLSHIT he didn’t know how to answer the first three questions! Fucking lazy asshole!
Dammit, I could have spent that 3hrs or more doing Maths. XDDD ASSHOLES!

I’m mainly pissed because this happens to me everytime I have to do groupwork. =_=;; I’m always left doing all the work. -.-;;

Hmm…I just heard that Stella is NSW’s 1st in Yamaha or something like that, for Young Musicians.

Heh, my mother just gave me “The 7th Yamaha Australian Youth Piano Competition 2005” booklet. I don’t know if I still have the 2004 one. Melody was in there.

Looking through it, I’m sure I’ve seen Michael Byrne…I definitely know Stella (lol), don’t think I’ve seen Lucy Lee or Stephanie Sim even though I’ve seen somebody like Sim. Albert Wu? WTF.

Hmm…Section Two. I’ve definitely seen Joanne Kang from last year’s Yamaha. Heh. She asked me whether I was performing. XD Though, I was only there to see Melody’s performance. She IS a child prodigy after all. That’s when I met Nyugen too. She is good too, but I beat her in one of the Eisteddfods. 0.o!!! Or did I…hmm…can’t remember.
Deborah Ng? Nah. Though, I do know an Ng.
Oliver? My parents say I’ve seen him but fuck I’ve never seen anybody near him.

Section Three. Dami Im…never heard of. Yu Heng Lau? Yep. He was the student usually before or after me when I was still attending Professor Makarova’s lessons. A very good pianist.
Ann Chooi Lee. Never heard but looks like Choi. Yiyun Loei? Never heard. Jisook Noh? Never heard.

Seems like one of Professor Makarova’s 6 Russian pupils that he took with him to Australia 6-7 years ago; who was also one of my teachers, was the guest artist for the competition. Alexey Yemtsov. Hmm…I still can’t remember Makarova’s son-in-law….Alexey…what? Dammit. XDDD
Hmm…haven’t heard much about his other pupil, Evgeny.
Ah well. XP

Who else can I remember? Hmm…David Fung (100 UAI and 1st Prize Youngest Musician in Australia). And….James Oliver, the guy who won 1st Prize in either McDonald’s competition or some Eisteddfod for playing Lullaby.
Nyugen.
Than the girl I beat in Narrabeen or something like that, Eisteddfod. Can’t remember her name but she either always followed Nyugen or always followed Melody. Yea, it was Nyugen.

Heh. I still remember when I accidently took her adjudicator notes by mistake. XD I thought I was no.5, but I was actually no.4. xD Darnit. XD That was so embarrassing and I still haven’t given it back to her. Hopefully, she doesn’t remember me. xP
