I forgot to mention that Maya Angelou came to speak for us!
I got past the first round of college Jeopardy! tryouts!
I'm in Chapel Choir! And Campus Council! And Plan V! Et cetera, et cetera.
So we were ready to hit the club, yo, but then people was like, "Maan, you should go to 'Iced Out'" instead. "Iced Out" = party where everyone wears white, because it's the last chance to do so before Labor Day. Everyone knows that people aren't allowed to wear white after Labor Day (at least, this was a rule a long time ago)...right? Benny says no one knows. I say he's a moron.
Anyway, the bus to "Iced Out" seemed like a party in and of itself--which was good, 'cause the party was so packed, we turned around and went right back to Duke.
I went kickboxing today!
We've got a celebrity on our floor!
And we've already had someone become injured on our floor!
(That's not the injured girl [♥], but that's beside the point.)
Yay!
P.S: Does anyone remember Small Wonder? They have DVD boxed sets for every show on the face of the planet--except for the one featuring a quirky robot named Vicky!
