I am made extremely happy by the thought of Stanford-era Dean and John getting blazing drunk, smoking and hurling bottles at people. Then picking fights in bars.

So, the thing where John killed Bill because he was beyond repair? Yeah. I already had that situation written into my Nam!John story, except it was a random Marine, not a close friend. *happy sigh* Oh, Supernatural. You deliver so well on my John. Now JUST GET HIM BACK IN THE DAMN SHOW ALREADY.

One of the things that bugged me about Devil's Trap was that, with demon!daddy talking about his daughter and his boy, it seemed as though demons were gendered which just didn't make any sense. But the fact that it's the Meg!demon in Sammy, combined with the crossroads demon, really does shatter that and show that it was just an... affectation on the part of demon!daddy. And I like that.
I also really like the description of hell. And the fact that John's going to be busting his way out of there. BECAUSE HE TOTALLY IS BECAUSE HE IS JOHN AND ALL-POWERFUL.
