As soon as I get time to excavate my scanner, there are so many panels I need to share from Showcase Presents Green Arrow.
My god, Ollie can't keep his hands off Roy. He's constantly got his hand on Roy's shoulder or his back (or possibly lower). And he's all, "You're my best friend, Roy! I can't risk anything happening to you!" And with the whole sharing-a-bedroom thing and the constantly-getting-undressed-in-front-of-each-other thing, he's starting to creep me the fuck out. Not to mention the pipe. The pipe doesn't make you look respectable, Ollie. It just makes you look even creepier.
There is no doubt in my mind that golden age Bruce and Ollie were both members of NAMBLA.

ETA: Ollie really needs a classic, time-defying villain. Batman has Joker (and a whole stable of back-up cool villains). Flash has his Rogues Gallery. Supes has Lex. The Teen Titans have Slade. Ollie? Ollie has himself. And, to be fair, he's pretty good at destroying himself, but I think the whole thing would work better if he was battling somebody else.
