Some pics from when the Supernatural people came to Sydney (and met the spider)
Once more with the lateness. It's going on 3 weeks now since starrylizard, rinkle, Cuddles and I went to the "All Hell Breaks Loose II" con in Sydney. But hey, some people might still be interested in seeing the pics.
Guests for this con were Jim Beaver, Sam Ferris, Rob Benedict, Julia McNiven and a returning Misha Collins (who somewhat bemusedly recalled that Sydney was where he first started talking about ponies and how he's been sent numerous My Little Ponies by fans since then).
So there were talks and autographs and photographs of when Jim Beaver and Sam Ferris met the spider for the first time (Misha Collins met him last year as evidenced by the icon on this post)

But Jim Beaver gave the idjit arachnid a good talking to

Last October, Christopher Heyerdahl autographed a photo for Cuddles - and now, Misha Collins has co-signed it.
I didn't know that Rob Benedict was in a band, so we bought one of their CDs and he very kindly autographed it for Cuddles.
We also got an autograph from Jim Beaver for kirei_seimei which he wrote in Japanese on.
Okay, so I haven't quite managed to post it to her yet, but it's definitely on my to do list.

So, yeah, been busy, busy, busy since then (what else is new). But good news on the travel front. Despite the failed to get to the UK for a conference in April (bloody volcanoes!), Qantas are letting me take the trip in August and my boss has okayed it for me to go to a different conference in Boston in November instead. It really seems to be true what they say about one door closing and another one opening.
