Oh family reunions. I wish my family did more of those, but a part of my dads family is not on good terms with us because my dad did not marry as they thought he would (my mom came from a very rural, very poor area, but is actually much more intelligent than the whole lot of them together and they hate that) - and there is not much of my moms family left.
I do wish that it turns out for the better. Family reunions are a rare sight nowadays. It's a time without modern conveniences (even a fireplace or an electric one) to me, as well as WiFi. I can only entertain myself by entertaining others.
But, if it does not bother you, I would like to learn more about Eid - what kind of holiday is it? What is the tradition behind it? What do you celebrate? We have two Eids.
