Notable Past Posts.

Oct 09, 2009 04:43

I think I'll be pulling these posts up every year, just to put under light what deserves it most.
These are links to a few notable posts regarding few things before, so that you, dear reader, won't have to unearth them to read them properly. I do you this service because I feel it is most fitting the general atmosphere, and it is also beneficial to myself, whenever I am bored to tears.

Anorian Legends:

This is a very old post, which has no bearing on the plot of Anorian Legends, but it's fun to read, since it is mostly a result of early world building and experimenting with more advanced prose.

Death Has Its Charm:

This is also an older post, written after reading Twilight and before New Moon. It's mostly positive things I am not very convinced of very much, but excluding my eccentric attitude, it doesn't differ very much. An updated Twilight opinion-post may or may not come out, but it's not on my To-Do list.

Eragon Re-Written:

This is a post written primarily so to imagine the world of Eragon if
A- The villain was more competent and proactive,
B- The history had more conflict,
C- Dragons don't take it lightly to enslavement.

I fell out of favor of writing this a while ago, but maybe the folks at Oh Shi-ana would like to read this for inspiration (though I highly doubt that).

Anorian Legends: World Building Snippet:

This is mostly done to flesh out various things in my world. It has potential of a plot, but nothing serious in my book.

----

The Fall and Ascension of Legends:

This is mostly a reactionary post/snippet, made so that I could make peace with the fact that I abandoned Forgotten Legends (The fanfiction centered around Runescape). It's quite strange, even by my standards.

Retribution is at Hand:

This is the older version of the story. It has been scrapped, yet reading it does have a certain taste of pleasure; it's like reading a crumpled paper in the dusty bin of a long-forgotten writer.
Changes since then: Derrick has a different past; Lyrissa has a different past, ambitions and present; there are many new characters; many less random encounters; much more magic-that-doesn't-ruin-the-plot; much less story-breaking-powers; and better prose.

Character Interviews:

Here is a "interview" with Prince Arrious, the protagonist of Anorian Legends. It's mostly done for comedic and world building purposes, but it's also a base for character design.

No, I'm Dead Serious:

This is mostly a collection of posts in the World of Warcraft forums on a thread that said mostly:

..and so the lion fell in love with the lamb.

Greetings

I am currently started an RPG guild for those who embrace the dark of vampires.

Being a fan of the popular novel Twilight, I wish to create this atmosphere in the World of Warcraft as there is no such Twilight MMO as of yet.

The requirements are as follows:

1. Extensive knowledge of Twilight AND Warcraft Lore - the simultaneous fusion of both
2. The ability to realistically ROLEPLAY a vampire using simultaneous Warcraft and Twilight Lore
3. Love of the novel Twilight and all works of Stephenie Meyer
4. Love of the game World of Warcraft with special attention to lore characteristic.
5. ALL characters will be Undead Rogues - as vampires do not use magic such as fire, frost, fel, and the like. However, Vampires can go invisible such as rogues. Therefore, we will use them.

- Guild chat will be in character at all times
- The Twilight novels and movie may only be discussed in the OOC channel, however in length.

Backstore:

Arthas and the Scourge created a portal linking the frozen wasteland of Northrend and Forks, Washington. Arthas and the Scourge allied themselves with the Nomad Vampires and kidnapped Bella.

Seeing as this new threat, Edward Cullen went through the still opened Portal in Forks, Washington where he met with the Warchief Thrall and Lady Sylvanas to fight back against both the Scourge and the Nomad vampires who are after Bella.

As vampres, we will fight with the Horde and Edward Cullen against the Scourge to save Bella.

The reason I picked undead is because they do not use magic. Elves are fare more fetching to the eyes, but they are addicted to magic and vampires within the Twilight universe do not use magic either. I think it would break lore for elvens vampires

We are also still looking for more so PST please!

If interested, contact me please in-game or within the confines of this post. My character will be called Ecullen - level 1 Undead Rogue.

Please send me mail if you wish to take part! Also write your backstories in this forum!

Thank you!

I know. I lol'd too.
But the most priceless things I found were the comments.

Eragon Spork:

This is a spork before I knew the word spork. It's done by me and myself, between two characters that are myself and a mentor of myself--it's pretty confusing, so just read it.

That's it for now.

Until next time.
