Wrath...of the Lich King...is going into stores in THREE DAYS!
I can't hold it back any longer. I got an e-mail from Blizz Insider, reminding me (as if I needed it) that WotLK (the next expansion of World of Warcraft) is coming out at midnight.
Seriously, despite I don't play the game anymore, (A fact that may shock many of my readers, if I had any) I still consider myself a Loremaster, as in a person who seldom plays, but takes greater enjoyment in the stories and various missions, quests, and personalities we could take while playing the epic game.
I hate to be behind, and not embark on the journey to Northrend to bring justice upon Arthas for what he has done...but I know I will do so soon.
When I can.
Let me leave you with words of warning spoken by Arthas himself.
"Young heroes, I was once like you. You have come to this place seeking to bring judgment upon the damned. You will venture deep into forgotten lands. You will see wonders beyond imagining. But be warned. The land itself will rise up against you. Long-forgotten terrors will smother your courage. Sacrifice everything as the final darkness falls. In the end, all that awaits you is death. Only then will you understand you've been following in my footsteps all along.

During this, I bought and begun reading The Children of Hu'rin, one of J.R.R Tolkien's stories.
It's real fun, and I noticed something.
Other then the way things are told, literature hasn't changed at all in all our years.
I believe now that people do not change. Our surroundings change, yet we do not.
And something else I have noted while writing Retribution is at Hand.
I sometimes find myself lacking inspiration or motivation (or both. XP) during writing for a certian path of action.
So instead of describing the meeting in the tavern, I jumped ahead to Derrick's dark thoughts.
Oh, and big note: My name is NOT Derrick Mace, who in modern life has Mace for a surname??
My name is Abdulrahman Alomair. Abdunnur is one of Derrick's nicknames, which translates to: Follower of the Light.
Which fits him both as a Paladin in World of Warcraft, and as what I aspire to be, in real life.
I think that -despite being the shortest characters thought of-, he is the closest to my personality.
