First of all, Aisha (my older sister) is pregnent! Although she and Abdulla (her husband) are fighting all the time for weird reasons, (mostly Aisha being on spiritual PMS and alternating between loving older sister to outright female version of Morgoth), the mood swings are funny, and she is really sweet when she's not shouting at me to go get her chocolate or pills. Abdullah is still nervous and jumpy as a flea, and it looks like my mom is having the time of her life watching us mere mortals squirm.
My younger sister, Fatimah is back from the capital city (where my mom's folks live) and now abdullah can't come in the house without her permission(seeing that she has to put on a hijab, and frankly, he doesn't like him enough to bother). It is quite funny, really.
My computer is still being fixed. I hope I'll get to keep my old hard disk. Better be more careful with downloads from now on.
Ramadhan is going fine. I was pretty parched today because I was eating hot dogs for dinner (dry ones at that) and I woke up with wolf breath. :-/
I had a dream about something I can't remember.
I am looking for a copy of A Thousand Splendid Suns to critique; I have heard just too much things from it and I do not want to form an opinion without reading it. Generally speaking, the book is looked at wearily; many people in the kingdom just hope it isn't insulting to our brothers in Afganistan or Islam, like many books often are, and I am somewhat like a western literature guru here.
I like cooking.
I am beginning to lose faith in Blizzard Entertainment. Most updates on lore changes go under Rule of Cool, and that is quite unsettling.
I am reading the Sword of Truth alongside the Silmarillion. The former is for professional reasons, the latter just for the kicks.
I'll soon upload a picture of me trying my hand in falconry, but it is quite old.
