What does that even mean?
I saw his door’s lock light green, so I moved out of the way.
“Oh my god…Saif, what the hell? Were you sleeping in that?” I gasped, eying the weird combination of nerdy-fitting cloths.
A black belt, a white Elvis shirt with ten zippers, a black baseball cap hanging loosely on his head, cyan torn jeans…all in a bundle.
When he saw my bewildered look, he smiled tiredly, and he added softly, taking off his baseball cap and throwing it carelessly behind his back:
“I’m thinking of becoming an anime character.” Is an “Elvis” shirt something even recognized?
“Just trying some new threads…wanted something?”
“YOU MUST DIE!”
(CD-I games, to those who don’t get this)
Waking myself up from the confused trance, I muttered:
“Hey, want to go out to the entertainment center?”
God…Mark is beginning to sound like Zell and Saif is like Squall from Final Fantasy eight. Check out SpoonyExperiment.com, under game reviews and laugh your brains out.
A flat “no” was his answer, but I insisted, trying to keep him from closing the door.
“Come on, all this time you’ve been giving us “No's”, how about a yes for a change?”
And “Yes Man” shoots in ten-nine--
-“Alright, yes but not today, not now.”
Har har.
“Come on, you don’t want to ruin this on all of us do you?”
No.
I added, stuffing my shoe into the door to prevent Saif from closing it.
He paused, a gleam of viciousness shone in his eyes shortly, but then he really thought about coming.
-“Okay…but I won’t participate in anything,” he voiced with a smile.
Good enough. Sounds like Squall a LOT. Even Emo Git is a master of the ellipses.
