They Said--

Feb 17, 2009 14:49

"Give me a Phalistinian solider and a German weapon, and I will make Europe fall to its knees."

-Hitler

"The Jews are foolish to invade a country whose people cannot back down."

-Kastro

"We have defeated the 'invincible army'"

-The Kassam Wings.

I've got an E-mail containing more quotes, but I'll just post the most moving to me.

And-- I bought New Moon. *Hides head in shame*

Aha...I'm becoming weak and romantic.

Now let's be honest here! I did it for one reason and one reason only, although I do acknowledge my...miscalculation.

You want romance?

Nay! I want the fantasy...Twilight is too small and limited a novel to compete. The main characters could be counted on a single hand, unlike other of my books that I recognize.

Indeed...but that doesn't make it any less.

Actually, it does. The scale of a story of three people (For instance) cannot be as epic as a story of ten, and the consequences of these ten affect a whole world. It's SCALE.

Despite saying that, I bought the book.

Damn you, split personality. I bought that because I didn't find Children of Huurin...and I can't read that thick book in class, unlike the subtle application on my IPhone. I need to read something, and that something might as well include vampires.

Yet, you pefer the dark side of vampires. Why would you read romantic novels targeted for young ladies?

I do perfer the darker side of vampires...I love how they could be...unpredicible. I like how Bella is showing signs of being perceptive and smart. But I find it somewhat unusual for her to know these guys are vampires and trust them like hell.

I love A Tenious Pact. It's a song made by an Opera, based on the same song in Warcraft III. It's so awesome, it made me almost cry.

Distraction!!
