High on the indefinable allure of potential. Slanted and enchanted.
I've been thrust back into a society obsessed with allusions of security. Disneyworldland is now fingerprinting patrons upon entry. I met quite a few people in Canada who would love to visit the states, but feel that the fingerprinting requirement is an unwarranted breach of privacy. As of yesterday, Crossgates Mall adopted a new policy banning anyone under 18 (I'm assuming they mean anyone not accompanied by an adult) from the premises after 4pm on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the few mall employees I spoke to there have been an increasing number of fights and harassments recently. The staff seems pretty pleased with this new policy. I think it's bizarre.
Went to buffalo last weekend for a wedding. Everyone seems to be getting married lately. I love my friends. I miss my people. Wine by the fire.
Then went to Toronto (laid back, friendly, and active. god i love canadia) to visit a displaced Aussie. We went to a big african festival in the park and chilled by the drum circles that formed as night wore on. was told i dance like an african by a lad from Chad. met a hippy medicine woman from a micmac (my ancestors) tribe in nova scotia. we had an immediate connection. she let me hold her medicine bag while we were talking so she could smoke and so i could look inside. when she took it back, it (and the rose quarts inside) were apparently hot. she flipped out and practically adopted me into the tribe on the spot. she told me how i should come visit nova scotia and meet the elders. this is about the time hayden and his friends decided to leave so i said a hasty goodbye. i gave her my email address, and she gave me her medicine bag. hopefully she'll remember to email me. weird days.
7 hours back to troy. Somewhere along the way I fell in love with NIN.
I have a little moon. with moon-fish and robots that fix bibles. the robots breathe air. moon air.
