Happy Holidays!! 8D
Happy Holidays everyone!! I hope everyone had an awesome, or at least tolerable, Christmas or whatever!! I bring photos today, yup yup.
First off, my Christmas was pretty great. Not perfect, but not bad either. My Mom sadly had to work of XMas eve and day, so my family had to reorganize our events.
On Friday 21st, my friend Calum had planned a buddy gettogether, so we could exchange our gifts and just generally hang out and have fun! Myself, Kate, Ryan, Marc, and a newer friend Glenn met up at Calums, and he had tons of yummy goodies all prepped!! We chilled in his basement where his gaming den is, and we decided to do gift exchange first. Ryan gave me a cute paperchild of his fursona, and a giftcard for Bath & Body Works and a prepaid NX card, for MapleStory. Kate said that she ordered my gift and it wasn't gonna arrive on time sadly, so she gave me a printed picture of it. She got me a custom Derr-painted dragon welpling sculpture from SixLeafClover, as well as a couple of black fuzzy socks and 2 bars of leaf-shaped soaps! Calum got me a new pillowcase that's made from a beautiful Asian dragon-printed fabric, and some fabric colour savers for it. Marc gave me a beautiful dragon book, that was wrapped in a chocolate Cheerios box, lol. And Glen got me Pokemon Nobunaga game. We all ended up getting wicked gifts from each other, and had tons of fun going around the group with the unwrappings. We then headed out for supper, and ate at Montana's. Then we headed back and watched the movie Christmas Vacation, which Ryan and Kate had never seen before. It was sooo hilarious, as always!! Then we ate snacks and played a bit of video games, but it wasn't long after that Kate and I had to head home, since we had plans the next day.
On Saturday, my family had our annual Christmas dinner, since we couldn't have it on XMas eve. The day didn't start off so well and I was very frustrated and angry with various things that went on, but I eventually cheered up and was able to have fun. We had a delicious turkey dinner with my immidiate family, grandparents, my uncle and his family, and my friends Kate, Ryan, and Calum. Then we chilled for a bit, and then opened presents! Other gifts I recieved were... a new PS2 controller, new winter boots (I knew about them before hand, I had to go pick them up also), pretty coasters that were pink with sugar-style skulls, Timmies gift card, prepaid Visa card, and moneys! I didn't recieve a lot in volume, but I was really happy anyways. I didn't ask for too much because my pokemon wishlist is always too big, and I didn't really need much. I was happy that I didn't recieve anything that I really didn't need or want. ^^'
On XMas eve, Ryan planned to take me out on a special date, as part of my gift for XMas and since my family was busy. The whole date ended up not working though, because the place we wanted to eat at was closed and the only places opened were fastfood places! When we were driving around and found out, Ryan was soooo upset, I felt so bad for him. Since there was nothing we could do, I tried to be optomistic and tried to comfort him with encouragement. We ended up going to get Chinese food for him and a sub sandwich for myself. We took our food back to my place and chilled and ate while watching tv together. I told Ry we would try our date another time, and that I still looooved having him be with me. It was still a date IMO. <3
Last few days have been chillin'! Been doing my usual hanging with friends, drawin' crap, playing MapleStory, yadda. C83 is this weekend and I was able to submit an order, thank GOD!! My 2 middlegals weren't doing services but I was able to find someone!! So far I'm still unsure which books she was able to get, but I ordered mostly SubMas books and a couple Daigo-related ones, and 2 books for Kate. What sucks though is that.... just a few hours ago, I was browsing my Pixiv and discovered a CRUTIAL BOOK that was missed due to the artist posting LATE. It's.... A MEW BOOK. I died when I saw it. I NEED IT, obviously. I wrote the artist about it in hopes that she can do an online mail order, so I just gotta wait and hope she knows English, lol. However I will do everything in my power to get whatever that book is. *determined*

So I bought/won these guys from eBay, from a plush artist in Russia. I'm pretty certain a few of my fellow mew-collector-buds have seen these guys listed there, and maybe bidwared with me and/or tried for the others that were listed after. Well... when I saw both of them, my heart sank and I knew... they both had to be mine, no matter what. At the time I didn't know that the artist was planning to actually make more copies of them from her patterns, so I felt I needed to take drastic measures, and I sadly paid a heafty price. However sad it might have seemed in the end, it truely.... was not sad at all, for my love and dedication knows no bounds. I could not take the chance that these two utterly priceless and perfect angels could slip away and never be mine. Great news for anyone else who needs these babies in their life, the artist has offered others and they've popped up a couple times now, wanting more people to love them.
So I recieved them, and they're in my life now. And.... I don't feel that words can truely describe how much I love these mewlings. They are PERFECT for cuddling, PERFECT for kissing their little heads, and perfect for loving and holding and just being a part of my mew family. I cannot even... :/
I litterally hug them every day. They are perfect...
They are big. Pretty much 1:1. Yes my room is messy atm..... well sleeping mew. :/
Rare-rare Brazil Char-Mew plush that I won from a fellow comm-member via eBay. I'm so very sorry I don't know your name off by heart. But just so you know..... I Fffff love you. THANK YOU. This mewling was in my grail pile. It's because of you I have this, and I honestly thought there would be a chance I'd never find one of these. ;v; My hero!!
I have 3 of these cuties, and they're hair elastics. I never knew they existed until they popped up on ebay, of all places. I feel very fortunate to have these now! I wanna use them as "necklaces" for 3 of my mew plush, but I'm really uncertain which special 3 should get them... :C
Ok CHRISTMAS PHOTOS!!! WEEeee!!
First off... back in late November, my Mom had started decorating the house for the holidays, and she randomly comes into my room asking to borrow one of my mews. Her asking this.... was startling to me. My Mom REALLY doesn't like or care about my collecting habits, so it was just funny to hear her asking for a mew. WELP... she apparently needed a mew to fit in a stocking and gaurd the downstairs closet from intruders... or at least look completely cute and pretty. QvQ
Anyways... this was a perfect match. I let her borrow a candycane to add a little more to it. Also, that hat looks awesome on her!! XD
Last year my Mom did something similar, but it was this little mew (whose name is Tomy) and the stocking was different, and down the hall and attached to the bottom of the staircase. Instead, I used Tomy for myself and tucked her away in my elephant stocking, with a candycane of her own. This stocking is hung from one of my collection shelves and is right next to the door to my room, so she sorta greets you as you walk in! ^O^
This years XMas treeeee, in the same location as it was last year, but a bit different setup. Photos start from the top of the tree and work their way down...
Treetops with high-flying ice princess articuno!! The snowflakes had to be next to her. And my rare-graily mew and stocking. Also, I had sooooo many candycanes that I just.... put them ALL over the place. I possibly gave one to each pokemon, big and small, in the tree. So Articuno had her own 'cane.
Nuggie MPC, small mew walky plush, and wintery-snow themed mew DS screen cleaner.... which is epic. Also, one of my snakey plushes and a froggy ordament.
Big mew walky plush, standard XMas mew plush, mew in stocking ordament, and a small XMas diorama figure scene. Yea it's a figure, but I was able to make it balance, yay! I couldn't leave it out. Also, there's my Tim Hortons coffee pot (Ffff yea Canadian), creamy dessert roll thing, and more froggy.

Less pokemon at the bottom. With exception for the white birds, the other guys are actually various critters that are usually IN that area, when the tree isn't setup. I have my 2 sea turties, my hydra-draggy incense burner, and a cutie snakey slap-bracelet. I just... really felt bad packing them all away for the season, so I put a bit of extra work into it and was able to incorporate these guys into my XMas scene. I just like to enjoy the holiday with ALL my plush toy friends! XP
Lastly, a month or so ago, I recieved my eevee-bananza order. Since their arrival I was forced to rearrange things and dedicate an entire shelf-floor to eeveelutions. I was lucky I was able to fit them all in, but the extremely sad thing is... there are more eeveelutions on my wishlist, and ones that I hope to get in the near future!! And I used ALL the space on that floor too. I was able to get all the eeveelutions minus eevee from both the Tomy and PokeCen lines, with the exception of vaporeon (standing). I also have all the regular pokedolls except leafeon. Those 2 are the ones I need to worry about first with regards to what to collect next on my eevee-list, then I was hoping to get the mini pokedolls. :/ I have no idea how I can pull it off, if possible. *sad...*
