I think.... I have a new love.
OvO It is.... a toad.
SO BASICALLY, I just gave myself up as a HUMAN SACRIFICE to hungry mosquitoes, to search for my true love once I got home from hanging with Ryan. I got outta the car, waved goodbye, and immediently headed for the LAWN, in a mindless instinctive sort of way. My boyfriend watched me, and I bet he lol'd and knew what was gonna happen once I took my many bags off on the driveway and stood along the grassy edge. Because I SAW HIM!! A little hoppy shadow!!
So I bent down and tried to catch him, but he was extra hoppy and got outta my reach. It was super dark, and my eyesight is apparently more horrid than I thought previously. I FUCKING LOST SIGHT OF HIM AND FREAKED OUT!!! I ran inside into the laundry room, grabbed a flashlight, raaaan back outside, and for 5-10 mins tried to find him again. But he was soooo dark, and SOOoooo tiny.... OAO I LOST HIM!!! HUMAN SACRIFICE FOR NOTHING!!!!! I searched all over the lawn with the light, couldn't find anything hoppy, nothing. Just moths and small flying things.
I was hoping to see my lovely one tonight, but... no. T^T So so sad....
Now I'm inside, settling down for the night and chillaxin'. I am starting to think.... about keeping my toad next time I find him. But I don't think I have the will to do it. I never want to let him go whenever I see and catch and hold him, but I always do because I can't bring him out with me. I have mixed feelings about the thought of keeping him, because even though I HOPE to have pet toadies in the future, well... that's the future, for when I'm more prepared. I really do wanna have pet toadies one day! But I especially love THIS toad. I dunno why, but there seems to be something special about him. He is one of the only toads that lives on my family's front lawn, if not the ONLY current toad resident. The toads have been very rare around our house this year, and the toad I keep seeing looks like the same little guy, just a tiny little baby. I'm very surprised he's alive because he's so tiny, and I accidentally dropped him like 3 times while holding him, cause he kept jumping outta my hand!! ^o^' ACCIDENT!!! But I'm worried for him... he's just a baby, and we have plenty of birds who I bet would eat him up if they found him, and... I'm scared he will come out during the day, a day when my Dad will mow the lawn. Our yard is kept nice and clean, and my Dad runs his own small lawn service. I have very bad memories of toads in bad situations, and I don't want it to happen to my little guy. But if I catch him and keep him as a pet... I feel as if it may be wrong to snatch him from his natural habitat. I mean, I would obviously go get a proper tank for him, and make it completely awesome for all his needs, but I'm unsure if my pet store sells the right food (as in, not JUST crickets, grubs too), or if he will be HAPPY living with me. I can make room for him if need be, but I don't wanna seem like an ASS if I decide to have him in my life. T^T He would prolly be safer though, no icky birdies or lawn mowers, lol.
Better news.... I GOT A PHONE TODAY!!!! EEEeeee!! I mean, not "switching phones" or any of that, I mean.... PHONE FROM SCRATCH!! My very own, YEEAA!!! After doing extensive research and thinking it through, I ended up going with Koodo, a SEXY LG Banter that my smarty friend Droo suggested to me! I LOVE IT so far!! It's currently wearing the blue faceplate (PFFT what else, gotta be BLUE BABY!!). I hope to find some wicked ringtones online so I can really spice it up, yeaahh. I'm gonna prolly search for a clip from an OLD Pokemon episode, one that played whenever Ash accessed a phone/computer and it went, "Ring-ring-ring, ring-ring-ring, phone call, phone call!" PFFTT LOVE THAT SHIT!! So need it. Might also use some mew sound clips, DUH!! Also need a hardcore/hardstyle bass theme as well. Might also get some DRRR!! themes, too sexy!! LOVE MY PHONE, SQUEEEEe!!!
