Appearance: Jimmy is thin, slender and not very muscular and medium height. He has thick, wavy chin length dark hair. He has hazel eyes and rectangular glasses. He's considered nerdy, yet handsome. He has a large burn scar along his torso. He's usually casually dressed in casual shirts, jeans and sneakers, sometimes a dress shirt and slacks, and wears a white lab coat for work. His posture is usually casual and lax, but not slouchy, same with usual expression. He usually tries to present himself in a responsible and trustworthy yet friendly way.
Background/Personality: Jimmy can come off as derpy or childish at times, because at times when he gets excited, he becomes overeager and nervous. The nervousness causes him to talk rapidly and mistakenly at times.
A friendly, and if not rather goofy, young man, He often seems to be in a cheerful mood. He loves to help people out, and when they are upset he tries to cheer them up, believing that kindness and optimism was the best way to go to solve one's problems. Though elegant and friendly, his family could. be dark and sinister, and likely involved with shady dealings involving magic and the supernatural. Jimmy's twin brother, Albert, especially fits this image and is the apple of their parent's eyes. Jimmy on the other hand was rather a black sheep of the family. As a small child, Jimmy did enjoy a normal happy childhood and close to his family without much care in the world. He would spend lots of time with his brother. They would play, go exploring in the woods and read stories together. He didn’t mind too much being in his brother’s shadow and knew he was great in his own way. His dream of being a doctor began when he was seven, when he hurt his knee during an outing in town. An older man, who was a traveling doctor and shrink, helped him. The two formed a friendship and jimmy liked to hang out with him and act as his assistant. He decided he wanted to be a doctor like him someday, and his parents were fine with that. However, the jealousy of their friendship planted some seeds of dissentment within Albert.
He did hear rumors of his family’s suspicious behaviors, but he did not want to believe him. Yet when he was about 10, one night he and Albert decided to follow them and see for themselves. In a circle of the woods, he witnessed his parents and their group perform a ritual sacrifice and open a ritual gateway. Albert did not seem too surprised, but Jimmy was horrified and ran and hid in a nearby barn. Lightning struck the building and set it on fire and he was trapped. He called out for help to Albert nearby, but he just left. Jimmy was left in despair, what he thought he knew falling apart. Jimmy’s life was saved when the old doctor went in to rescue him, but it was at the cost of his own life. Jimmy lost some memories of his childhood especially of that night, but he knew he somehow couldn’t trust his family anymore. He did remember his mentor and his sacrifice and knew even more of his life goal to be a doctor, in his honor.
Though he still loves his family even with his distrust, though perhaps as much for Albert, he didn't want to be involved in anyway with their suspicious behavior. As he grew up he tried to distance himself from their reputation and to carve his own path in life. His still sometimes has contact with them, especially his mother.

He is not quite sure about being a full medical doctor as he doesn’t think he can handle it, but he does want to put his medical leanings to use when he sees it needed. He has signed up for medical internships, and was assigned to St. Clarissa's mental asylum, where he was an intern doctor. His tasks included filing paperwork, assisting the main doctors and handling the patients. Although seeing the patients in their lost state put him down, he enjoying working with them, especially in the children’s ward. He wanted to know who she really was and where she came from, and the cryptic messages she sometimes let out. One day, they found out she was likely to be the long lost daughter of a rich family. They were contacted and went to get her. They were overjoyed to find her yet saddened at her empty state, especially her twin brother. As she went home, Jimmy was assigned to go with her and keep an eye on her. He was glad to see she was with her family again and slowly possibly recovering, yet little did he know about the sinister plans his own faily had involving who she really was, and her links to their goals of twisting the multiverse.
Jimmy lives in a normal modern age world, though there is known to be bouts of magic and the supernatural. It's usually known types of magic, though most of it is hidden and kept in the shadows. There are unexplainable phenomena, supernatural and magical creatures, people who use magic, and links to the multiverse, like the folklore of this universe. Some was there said since ancient times, some grew and evolved and developed from the energies that already were there, but some leaked in form different worlds. He’s aware you the magic and is curious about it, doesn't want to really be involved with it given a choice. He lives in a mid large city in an apartment leasing to students.
Why should that character be in this game: I have been wanting to play an original character in an livejournal role play for a while now, but none of my original characters were developed enough. I came up with Jimmy a couple months ago and believe I have finally developed him enough and he is ready for something like this.I think he would fit in well enough here and that he would get along with the other characters.At first he will probably have the usual new character reactions, freaked out about being here and unsure if this was all real or not. Then He will probably want to get all the scifi experience he can, before trying to fix a life here for now. He might eventually set up a therapist office.

I'm petty sure this isn't the station I was supposed to arrive at, which I'm pretty sure I boarded the right train, and now this big lumpy thing tells me about planets and paperwork and I have no idea what is going on...
Did I fall asleep and I'm dreaming? I don't think so, though you can feel that too if you're in your dreams anyways. Oh god, what if I was kidnapped! I can't be kidnapped, I've got people to take care of! Oh good, a phone! Hello, Operator? I think I got a problem...
3rd person sample: Jimmy checked into work that morning, cheerfully responding to the greetings of the other employees. Well technically he was still just an intern, but he was somewhat considered one of the doctors, and he got to assist the other doctors, even sometimes the head doctor, who had his mentor moments. The asylum was a relatively grim place, but there were occasional small pockets of sunshine, and Jimmy liked to try to spread it around to the patients. It pained him, knowing the lost souls some of them were, but he wanted to try to help them feel better as much as possible. He strode through commencing his duties and checking his clipboard. Okay, one item for that day. Greet the new patient and get him settled in.
"To answer your questions, It's Monday morning, At St John's asylum, and you're here because you're not too well in your mind. Well maybe you are a bit crazy, maybe you aren't. That's what wer'e hopefully going to figure out to your stay." He was telling the patient as they passed though the hospital on the way to the dorms. Jimmy pointed out the various areas. The dining hall, the examination room, the activity area. There were patients seen, some lost in their own little world, some talking to something that wasn't there, some falling into despair.
As they passed the childrens ward, Jimmy peeked through the window on of the the doors. A young blond girl sat slumped against a wall. Shewas very frail, her eyes blank, bandages around her wrists. There seemed to be some dried blood drawn in pattens on the white walls of the room. "She's up, I wonder if there will be any progress with her today...Well no one knows who she is." He informed the new patient still behind him "They just found her like this one day, no one knew who she was or where she came from. She's just completely empty, like her soul has been shattered. But sometimes there are faint traces of something, and bouts of extreme emotions likes grief or rage, she screams and attacks, sometimes self damaging, and we have to knock her out. Plus those cryptic things she sometimes mindlessly draws and mumbles in a strange language..." he looked at her sadly and fondly "I've been assigned to working with her, and I guess I've become somewhat attached to her... "
