The fact that the man standing in front of him could be his physical twin was unnerving enough, but the sheer aura that Ky was getting from this man was enough to put him on-edge immediately. He had enough sense, however, to not draw Fuuraiken, instead opting to try reasoning with the man first before any physical action had to be taken.

"Major Jin Kisaragi?"

The other man turned, eyes narrowing at the IPF officer. Everything had been going well up until recently, when they had sent the Lieutenant after him to try and deter him from meeting up with Brother. But that was more important than his duty, because it was his destiny. "What the hell do you want," he sneered, one hand already hovering over Yukianesa's handle.

"My name is Commander Ky Kiske of the International Police Force. We have reason to believe that you have been shirking your duties, and because of that, among other rumors, I have been ordered to take you in. Please come quietly, I don't want to make a scene." Jin didn't move, and the fact that he didn't made Ky tense all the more.

"Pathetic."

"I beg your pardon?"

"So you want to take me back?" He let out a dark chuckle, one that caused Ky's hair to stand on end. "In the end, you're just another obstruction on my path."

"I'm taking you in because you seem to have forgotten your honor and duty, Major. You are to protect the people, not go off on your own, chasing a man that has nothing to do with your duty-"

"Don't talk to me about duty! I've heard about you, Kiske. You've gone off to chase a bounty hunter who had gone AWOL from the old Order, am I wrong?" Jin's smirk widened as Ky hesitated, looking away for the moment. "Contrary to what you might believe, justice isn't black and white."

"I know that." Ky took a deep breath, readying Fuuraiken as it seemed that lightning itself sparked in his eyes. "And you are correct, I had been chasing after Sol for a long time before I finally stopped the endeavor. But that doesn't mean that you should make the same mistakes."

Jin laughed again, readying Yukianesa. "Mistakes?! Kiske, this is my destiny. Now get out of my way before I cut you down."

"I didn't want to have to do this..." He let out a sigh, one hand moving to his chest and clinching the cross necklace under his uniform. Heavenly Father, forgive me for what I am about to do. "Major Jin Kisaragi, for the crimes of attempted murder, aggravated assault, desertion, and resisting arrest, you are hereby under arrest." Fuuraiken was unsheathed, lightning arcing across the blade and Ky's body as he got into his attack position. "I was hoping that you would come quietly, but it seems that I have no choice."
