a) He's a traitor who's started a war against the organization he's been part of for x number of years, ordered the death of an entire town for the sake of his goal of becoming god, lied, manipulated, murdered, etc, etc.

b) He's in Valora. orz

To be fair, I was thinking of placing Sakura - the girl I'm talking about - in Verity, but then I took pity on her because she's terrified of ghosts.

Mmhmm, it'd have also been cruel to put her in Ex Favila, where she'd have no fresh air and no sky.

...well, there are a couple of people there I think would keep an eye on her. Some who are just really kindhearted that way, and another likely bribed by Sakura's cooking skills.

She's just... still really naive and has been pretty sheltered until now.
