Personality: Rorolina, referred to as Rorona by her friends, is a fairly good-natured, yet, ditzy, alchemist in training, who ends up running the workshop she helps Astrid maintain when the kingdom threatens to close it down. Having been working under Astrid so as to pay the senior alchemist back for the medicine she gave Rorona's parents when they fell ill, when Rorona was small, she's more or less been subject to having to do a lot of things for the older woman, including going to answer the summons at the castle for her, because Astrid can't be bothered to go herself. As Rorona doesn't want the workshop to close, as she still has her debt to pay off (and Astrid isn't about to let her go home that easily), the workshop ends up being run in Rorona's name, changing to 'Atelier Rorona', when Astrid decides to leave it in the girl's care.
Given her young age, and her nervousness at running the workshop on her own, Rorona tends to panic easily sometimes, or ramble on accidentally about things. In the player demo, for example, she starts to ramble about making pies through alchemy, about how Astrid says master alchemists don't need to use kitchens to cook, and this leads on to her offering to synthesize cabbage soup, as well, as she just picked fresh cabbage this morning. This goes onwards about things like the shops and the cafe around here, and taking up jobs about the castle, among other things. Rorona also tends to be picked on by her younger friend, Cordelia, whom people tend to think is older than Rorona.
Rorona, does, however, care for people, and wants to help out. Even if her master is lazy and unmotivated, Rorona still wishes to make her proud, though she does raise objections when Astrid bans her from making pies in the kitchen, one of the things Rorona was really good at, stating that it was to help her become a better alchemist...though in truth it was just because Astrid had a reputation to maintain as a 'clumsy girl breeder'. Of course, she sometimes makes the mistake of forgetting things, like how Hagel doesn't like being called by his last name (because he mishears 'Boldness' as 'Baldness').
Despite her ditziness, Rorona tends to be fairly cheerful, though despairs all the same at times, like having to run the workshop on her own, or having to go outside town to hunt alchemy ingredients. She also tends to complain at times to others about Astrid, wishing she had a different master, or at least someone not as lazy as her. Of course, Rorona won't say stuff like this to Astrid's face, though she'll sometimes protest her master's treatment all the same.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Rorona isn't particularly skilled at much, aside from baking pies and the alchemy she's studying. She is, though, fairly dedicated to a cause, though in general, it's usually simply keeping the workshop running. This isn't to say that Rorona won't help her friends when in need, however, though at the same time, it tends to be more along the lines of Rorona being pushed into a situation she didn't volunteer for...which you could also count as a weakness.
On the flip side, Rorona is easily picked on, and prone to panicking, and tends to end up being torn between one decision or another. An example would be the events that occur if one raises Sterk's friendship level past 60%; in year 3, he'll warn Rorona not to go to the Stern Highlands, as there's a particularly dangerous dragon there, and he doesn't want to see her get hurt. Astrid, on the other hand, makes an offhand remark about how dragon scales are a prized alchemical item, which, while causing an argument between Sterk and Astrid about Rorona's safety, causes Rorona to have to mull over whether to listen to her teacher or her knight friend.
Rorona is a ditz and somewhat clueless, but she's still good-natured and dedicated to her friends...even if they do pick on her.

Samples
(Please note that both samples must take place in Route_29’s setting.)
First Person Sample: Um-! So, I might not have my alchemy while I'm here in, er...what was this place called again? -Oh! Johto! Um...so I can't use my alchemy while I'm in Johto, but I was wondering- what sort of foods do Pokémon like? I'm really not that great at much without alchemy, though I like to bake pies, but, um...well! I could...make treats for my Pokémon, right? I mean- not on the road obviously, but in a town, obviously!
Ahh- and I could bake pies, too, I mean, if anyone wanted some! Pokémon Centers have kitchens, right? Orrrrrr...is there anyone living in town that'd let me use their oven?
Third Person Sample: This wasn't really how Rorona expected to spend her time, not that she had expected to end up in charge of Astrid's workshop, either. In a way, it was a nice change from having to run the workshop, and keep it from closing down, a task Rorona was sometimes almost certain she'd never be able to accomplish. On the other, she had to wonder what would happen now that she was in Johto- would Astrid allow the workshop to close, or would she save it herself? Not to mention there was still that debt to the senior alchemist to pay...
Oh well, there wasn't really any point in thinking about that now, now was there? Skipping a little as she made her way towards the next town, Rorona glanced down at the Marill that was struggling to keep up with her pace, before picking up the little water-type Pokémon, and placing it on her head.
"I guess this isn't so bad, now is it, Mari?" she asked her traveling companion; so far, Rorona had been giving all of her Pokémon nicknames, as she did everyone back home. This had been working out great for the most part, save for the times where the name was too short or difficult, but she'd get back to that later. "In fact, it's kinda a lot of fun so far! Except for that one time with all the Beedrill, and the time I ran out of money for food..."
"Marill! Rill!"
"Right! Except for those times, it's been fun! And Master and Cory can't pick on me here, and I don't have to worry about the workshop-"
...The workshop.
The workshop.
Rorona had a feeling she had been forgetting something.
"Oh no! What if they close the workshop down while I'm gone!?"
