imo its a little sad that no one really just blames the person responsible anymore. he was a product of the system and he snapped. I know perfectly well that everyone thinks heinous things at least once in their life, and could be capable of violence of a similar magnitute...
the difference is they dont. the difference is those small events that shape a person as they grow. the difference is the neglect on the part of parents and community, the sheer mass of humanity in the world, and the inability to keep tabs on absolutely everyone on a personal level. cus i mean come on, if we could do that, there wouldnt be world hunger, there wouldnt be poverty of any kind. there would be no homeless people cus they'd have been offered a floor to sleep on. there would be no hungry because their friends would tell them to come over for dinner, and yeah maybe we can afford to help you out for a while till you get back up on your feet.
I knew one of the girls that got shot. the one i blame is the one who pulled the trigger. the swirl of media around it... well i just turn off the TV. because you know whats happening, but some people dont. I didnt watch the news until tuesday, as it was unreliable. the internet is far better. but we already knew that :P
