My mom is OK with me earning the money for a horse. I think she finally understands how much it means to me.
The realization that my brother is leaving for college hit me yesterday. I'm going to miss him so much. My mom told me that a psychiatrist told her friend 'For every major loss you have to gain two important things in your life.'
My loss is that Duke is leaving, but my gains are Susan marrying my dad/moving down here and a whole new turn on my life at the barn, both in the fact that I've made a lot of new friends there and I'm getting a motherfucking horse!
I still can't get over how much my life changed this month.
