I cried yesterday because I had to explain to Adrian why the Avatar issue bothered me. Whenever there is a dispute about race, people come in and start talking about circumstance, business, and other problems in the world none of which address the core issue. Agreed, there is much more to discuss and to be seen. It's funny how quickly this subject can move from racial issues to philosophy of business, but I agree that we'd have to get into these discussions if we want to see results. Business is definitely not the conclusion.

I think the "new" aspect of this particular film is the fact that the leads are also children. We know how crazy adults are on policy when children are involved.
