Im thinking of redoing my colours on this page.. methinks a nice series or reds would be totally awesomeness.... so im gonna tinker. And im typing that in here for no real reason other than that im on crack today.. i have so much energy and no idea where the hell it's from.
So work is getting better and better as i slowly impress all of my managers and superiors. According to my store manager i could be "getting myself into management" if i "stay on the same track im on now" And while i know for sure i dont ever want to end up managing a Wal*Mart for the rest of my life i do realize that if i can get into it now that it is a SHITLOAD of money that can totally help me later in my life. Plus... im a slut for money. *Wink*
Im eating possibly the best food of all time. It's from Peter's Drive In the BEST fast food place in the history of time. Its this tiny little out of the way shop we have here in Calgary that has been serving the city for over 40 years with the best fast food in the worl. But it is closing soon because the City of Calgary (FUCKING ASSHOLES!!!!) has decided that they want to widen 16th Avenue with 2 more traffic lanes. The Restaurant is on 16th Avenue and has no choice but to close. And in disgust the manager has decided that it isnt worth relocating.. he's just going to close it. Because "If Peters Isnt In 16th then It Cant Be Anywhere" So basically something that has been there all of my life and all of my parent's lives is going to go away.. and this town just wont be the same anymore. Peters is what makes up good.
And in other news..... The Stampede is Coming! Hooray. For anyone who doesnt know.. the Calgary Stampede is the Largest Outdoor Show On Earth. Theres a full on Rodeo with Cowboys and all that crap, Midway Games, Daily Stage Performances by Hugely Popular Bands, A Gigantic Casino, and Rides ranging from childrens rollercoasters to rides that make you scream just looking at them. So last night i went all Nostalgic-like and re-downloaded almost my entire playlist that i used to have on NAPSTER. YES... i sayd Napster. I remember every song i had on that thing back when it was free and very awesome. Some seriously old shit from my childhood to the biggest songs of the time.. i miss napster A LOT and every other music sharing program is AssCrap compared to it. Simple as that. but i'll be fucked if im gonna pay to download music. I'm Canadian so fuck anyone who says its illegal.
I also made some banners for DB (on random of course) from the Movie Kiki's Delivery Service which to this day remains one of my favorite movies. For anyone who doesnt know what it is or hasnt seen it.... mere words cant describe.. so GO SEE IT!
And thats all for now
Oh.. im cleaning my room today... and if i dont make it out alive i want to be remembered as a sarcastic asshole. Keep the memory alive!
