I'm semi-somewhat lovin' it!

Yikes. I just went to Seattle for a week to learn how to be a more effective manager. Don't get me wrong it was great! Informative, great bars, met some new people that i definitely want to stay in touch with, but there was something about the trip that is still lingering in my head. Not something specific, just a mere thought or perhaps better yet a feeling that won't leave me alone. It all stems from the fact that this is my 6th year at McDonalds. Six years of bliss, hell and my very own blood sweat and tears. I know, i know, i know that turning this into a career isn't a bad thing at all, but the surrounding aura of that thought haunts me. I want to impress people, i want to be remembered and generally well thought of, however i don't think that the McDs career can do that for me.

You want some facts about McD's??
-they've turned more people into millionaires than microsoft has
-there's a waiting list of people wanting to own their own stores. A waiting list?! It's mind boggling that there's a high demand of people wanting this occupation
-those who own their own stores make an average of 3% of the profit that the store pulls in ( i think that our boss does) which gets up to $6000 a month.
-if i get a law degree, i can work as a legal consultant for the company. I have McD experience, and that's a plus
So why the negative thoughts?? Umm..........i don't fucking know. School is just right around the corner for me (next fall that is) and i am more than excited to go back. Nevertheless, there's a balance issue there i'm not sure i'll be able to work out. I truly am starting to enjoy my job and am getting much more anxious to go back to school. Second thoughts keep popping up such as what if i don't like law school, what if my grades aren't good enough to get me in, they go on forever in this fashion. I know i can do this, it;ll just take more effort than i'm used to putting in and sometimes learning new tricks just isn't up my sleeve.
