Can I keep a secret or what? =D
Last summer, my darling Ali asked me to make a special doll as a Christmas surprise for my equally dear L.
And then she told me who the doll was to be and I had a Squee!-fest! Doctor Maturin from the Master and Commander series, which I LOVE!
The good doctor is in his exploring finest, with a functional drawstring bag to carry the specimen he captures in his net.
His most recent capture? L.'s heart. =)

And L. has sent me a wonderful photo of him in a new adventure, but I haven't given up on the mega-post with photos sent to me, so I'm keeping it hidden for now. =D
